In the heart of Ontario, Ledcor takes pride in our commitment to excellence in maintaining crucial infrastructure, particularly in the Sault Ste. Marie Maintenance Contract.

The Sault Ste. Marie Maintenane Contract was awarded in June 2023 and is 7 to 10 years in duration. We maintain over 3,600 lane-kilometers in Ontario, using 17 highway maintenance yards with material and equipment storage, and over 150 employees. This project consists of delivering provincial highways maintenance work, provincial highways capital improvement work, quality management, environmental management, safety management, information management, and traffic management.

Highway maintenance work includes snow and ice control, sign installation and maintenance, guiderail installation and maintenance, bridge repairs and maintenance, mowing and vegetation control, ditching, shouldering and shoulder maintenance, washout repairs, culvert installation and maintenance, road patrols, and 24/7 emergency response and traffic management.

Provincial Highways Capital Improvement work will be completed as needed, including Contractor Directed Maintenance Contract, ditch cleanout, shouldering, and culvert installation.
